Today’s post is really just for fun. Food photographer Amy Roth and I decided to get creative with this photo, so we dreamed-up a snowy scene for your viewing pleasure. Throwing food items around is not something you get to do every day in normal food styling and photography, so it was a great change of pace for us! We had to practice timing and made quite a mess in the process, but it was all worth it. What’s next? Splash photography maybe?
A fun wintry drink for your next party! Featuring vanilla vodka.
- 1 oz vanilla vodka
- 1 oz creme de cacao
- 1 oz peppermint liqueur
- cotton candy
Pour the alcohol into a cocktail shaker with crushed ice and shake until well chilled. Form the cotton candy into a ball and place in a martini glass. The cotton candy will dissolve when the alcohol is poured over it, so be sure to present the glass first. Pour in the mixture and serve.
This drink is a sweet, fun cocktail to serve up at your next winter party. Perfect for holiday entertaining or to get you through the worst of blizzards.
